Restricted-Access Earthworks
Compact machinery and experienced operators for tight or difficult-to-access areas.
Tranquil Gardens handles diverse earthworks projects, utilising machinery suited to restricted-access sites as well as general earthmoving for larger blocks. We work carefully around existing fences, paving and gardens rather than assuming they need to come out.
With experience working across Perth’s sandy, rocky and clay-based ground conditions, our team handles everything from site preparation and pads to soakwells, drainage and ferricrete. We consider the conditions of each property to create a solid foundation for the next stage of your project.

View review on GoogleWe had several areas professionally landscaped, and the transformation has been fantastic.
The backyard now features a beautiful rockery with a water feature, creating a relaxing and attractive space.
The side area has been paved, and the garden has been levelled, making it safer and more practical for everyday use, including hanging out the washing.
A rustic fire pit has also been added, and the grandkids will love roasting marshmallows there.
The front yard is now neat, tidy, and much more inviting.
Throughout the project, Tom provided excellent suggestions that complemented the space perfectly and blended seamlessly with our rammed earth home.
Tom Michael and Matt thank you for a great job.
View review on GoogleHighly recommend Tom and his team! They completely transformed our challenging sloping front yard into a beautiful native garden. From the initial design through to completion, the communication, workmanship and attention to detail were exceptional. The whole team was professional, reliable and great to work with. We couldn't be happier with the result!
View review on GoogleWe engaged Tom from Tranquil landscaping for a much and long overdue retaining wall repair and recycled brick paving relaying. Tom and his team did a brilliant job with both the wall repairs and relaying of our recycled heritage bricks. Its not every day you also get a history lesson on heritage bricks circa mid 1800 and 1900 hundreds.
This kind of quality trades is rare, and will be using Tom from Tranguil landscapes in the future.

From start to finish, the communication with Tom was great and he really listened to what we wanted. Tom worked with us to make sure we were happy with the plants, layout, and overall result. He provided advice on different options to suit our budget, helping us make decisions without compromising on the final outcome.
The whole team was friendly, professional, and incredibly hardworking. Their attention to detail and great ideas along the way helped us create a garden that we absolutely love.
We're so pleased with the result and would happily recommend them to anyone looking for landscaping or garden design services. Thanks again Tom and the team for all your hard work!
View review on GoogleI recently had my backyard landscaped by Tom and the team at Tranquil gardens and I couldn’t be happier with the results. From the very first consultation, Tom was professional, attentive, and genuinely passionate about bringing my vision to life. They took the time to understand exactly what I wanted, offered creative suggestions, and designed a space that perfectly balanced our needs for our family.
The quality of workmanship was outstanding as well as their communication. I was kept informed at every stage, and any questions I had were answered promptly and clearly. The project was completed on time and within budget, with no surprises. Even when we kept changing our minds they were happy to get on board and handled it beautifully.
Our backyard has been completely transformed into a space we now love spending time in. I’ve already received so many compliments from friends and family. I would highly recommend this company to anyone looking for reliable, high-quality landscaping services.
View review on GoogleOur experience with Tom, Principle of Tranquil Gardens has been a good one. Tom and Team did a good job and left the completed job neat and acceptable to us. His quote was not the cheapest but we went with with our gut feeling that Tom will deliver which he did. He came to our rescue in changing a light globe as both my wife were unable to do so.
Our compact machinery can fit through access points as narrow as 900mm. For tighter spaces, including as narrow as 800mm, we can discuss the options available. If you’re not sure, the easiest thing to do is send us a few photos and approximate measurements, and we’ll help determine what’s possible for your property.
If water’s pooling on your lawn or paving after rain it can be a sign that your soakwells need attention. Sometimes cleaning or repairs are enough, while older, damaged or undersized soakwells may need replacing. We can assess their condition and recommend the most practical solution.
Yes. We can incorporate drainage and stormwater management into your earthworks project, considering ground levels, water flow and the intended use of the space. Planning these elements together helps manage stormwater and reduce the risk of pooling once your landscaping or paving is complete.
Absolutely. We prepare sites for shed pads, granny flats, caravan pads and other construction projects. We’re happy to work with your builder or concreter’s specifications and coordinate the preparation around your project timeline, so the site is ready for the next stage.
It can. Wet ground conditions can affect excavation, levelling and machinery access, particularly on clay-based or sloping sites. We consider weather conditions when scheduling your project and keep you informed if adjustments are needed to carry out the work safely and effectively.
