Our Journey
Tranquil Gardens began in 2008, taking on landscaping jobs for friends before the business was officially registered the following year. What started with one person and a trailer has grown into the small, dedicated, hands-on team we are today, still personal, still involved and still taking pride in every project we take on.
Seventeen years on, we’ve grown to know the properties, conditions and communities we work in well. While we work across Perth, the eastern suburbs and Perth Hills remain at the heart of what we do.
Our approach has always been pretty simple: take pride in the work, look after our clients and create landscapes we’re proud to put the Tranquil Gardens name to.

Meet The Team
Tom - Owner and Landscaper
Tom has spent seventeen years turning rough ideas into finished gardens across the Perth hills and eastern suburbs. He’s happiest solving the tricky problems onsite, from difficult blocks to awkward access and the kind of jobs others say can’t be done. Outside of work, Tom’s a family man with a wife and four kids, he loves the outdoors, camping and the quiet moments in nature that help him reset.
Matt - Landscaper
Matt’s been part of Tranquil Gardens from the beginning, working part-time alongside another career before transitioning to full-time in 2026. He’s been transforming landscapes with us the whole way through. Outside of work, Matt enjoys spending time with his wife and three kids, as well as camping and four-wheel driving.
